The 8th Annual IBN Business Conference

Conference Theme: “Africa – Go beyond Borders.”

Venue: The Polana Serena Hotel, Maputo, Mozambique

Date: 3rd May–6th May

Kindly note that the conference will start on Thursday afternoon May 3rd, please plan arrival for latest Thursday morning May 3rd.

Hotel and Room: We would appreciate it if you would urgently confirm your attendance and return you completed registration form as rooms at a lower rate are very limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The registration form should be sent to us as soon as possible but latest by September 1st. After this date, The IBN office will have to release the hotel rooms and therefore can not guarantee availability at the Polana Hotel.

Conference Content: The theme of this year’s conference is “Africa – Go beyond Borders” and is aimed at exposing members to the enormous business opportunities presented by Mozambique and Africa as continent. As usual, IBN is striving to offer members excellent value by assembling the most dynamic international speakers and providing an excellent platform for the sourcing of business opportunities and networking.

The programme includes: interactive workshops, alluring presentations, teambuilding, Conference openings dinner, and the AGM (Annual General Meeting).

Advertisement IBN Conference Magazine: IBN is offering its members special rates for full colour advertisements in our Annual Conference Magazine. The Magazine will be distributed free of charge at the conference to all conference delegates, including IBN members, Ismaili guests, sponsors and speakers. After the Conference, the brochure will be used to market IBN as “Your Gateway to Africa” to potential investors, partners and suppliers. In addition we aim to distribute the Brochure throughout the Global Ismaili Community. Please find the attached advertising rate card for the rates and material requirements. Deadline for advertisement is (will be updated soon), however we advise members to inform us immediately to reserve your space for advertisement.
