Annual IBN Business Conference 2007

The 4th Annual IBN Business Conference was held from the March 29-April 1, 2007 at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Dubai, UAE. This was an important milestone for IBN as it signalled the first time that we have held the Annual IBN Business Conference outside of the African continent.
Barclays Wealth were the Gold Sponsors while DESPEC and Middle East Development (MED) were the Silver Sponsors of the conference. This years edition of the IBN Conference attracted an impressive line-up of speakers as well as our highest attendance figures to an IBN Conference with 120 delegates from across the world (of which almost 40 of them attended as paying guests)-thereby adding impetus to the networking aspect of the conference. The exciting evening events such as the Dhow Cruise and the Desert Safari also enabled the delegates to network in a more relaxed manner.
Overall, this event has garnered a positive response from the membership and the delegates at large and has given us impetus to drive forward IBN initiatives in Africa and abroad.
